The HEAT reportedly have interest in Sebastian Telfair, but the only thing
that was stopping them from going after him, was that the he was a restricted
free-agent, meaning the Timberwolves could match any other team's offer. But
on Monday the T-Wolves decided to make him an unrestricted free-agent,
meaning the HEAT could possibly look into signing him. Here is the article

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves extended qualifying offers to
restricted free agentsRyan Gomes, Craig Smith and Chris Richard on Monday and
chose to let Sebastian Telfair and Kirk Snyder become unrestricted free
agents.
The moves were a formality the team had to go through with the start of the
free agent bidding period beginning on Tuesday.
