看板 MiamiHeat 關於我們 聯絡資訊
1. For all the positives the Heat has offered about journeyman point guard Marcus Banks, at the end of the day, he remains no more than a throw-in from last season's Shawn Marion trade. With the acquisition of Shaun Livingston, it is clear that Livingston and second-round pick Mario Chalmers are the team's point guards of the future, while Chris Quinn is the short-term veteran bridge to that future. Banks? At this point he shapes up as little more than a suit seated behind the bench and three more seasons as salary-cap ballast. 2. Livingston went through an NBA practice Saturday for the first time since shredding his left knee in a Feb. 27, 2007 game while with the Clippers. "My body felt good," said the 6-foot-7 guard, who worked in a rigid, football-type hard knee brace. Coach Erik Spoelstra said there were no limitations placed on Livingston, other than pauses to get him to speed on the playbook. "If you walked into the gym and had no idea of who he was or if he had a knee injury," Spoelstra said, "you wouldn't notice that he was inhibited out there." 3. Matt Walsh's second go-round with the Heat was as inconspicuous as his first opportunity in 2005. The former Florida Gator ran out of luck when the team Friday added Livingston. In the end, Walsh will wind up doing what he has done the past two seasons, collecting six-figure money as a dependable European prospect. It is possible that by the time you read this, he already will have secured a European deal. Ultimately, he never had a chance against the guaranteed money of Dorell Wright and Daequan Cook. 4. The length and defensive disposition of the Pistons should make this a challenging debut for first-round pick Michael Beasley. For all Beasley accomplished in summer league, he has yet to inspire complete confidence that his nifty array of post moves will prove as dominant against faster, taller, more aggressive NBA defenders. One can't help but get the sense that Rasheed Wallace would enjoy nothing more than subjecting the kid to a few rookie lumps. Then again, Beasley already has endured his share of NBA hardship, forced to buy tickets for family members flying in for Sunday's game. "You see the prices for those?" he said. "Whoa." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.228.109.10
