It ended with Dwyane Wade in the same position as the sellout crowd.

比賽就在Wade只能和滿場觀眾一樣坐在場邊的情況下結束了。

As a spectator, watching, hoping, until all hope was lost.

一如觀眾般地看著場上戰況、有所期待，直到所有希望破滅。

The question now is not whether the Miami Heat can salvage this opening-round
best-of-seven NBA playoff series against the Boston Celtics. That has never
happened in this league, a team rallying from an 0-3 deficit at any
postseason level.

當下的問題是，究竟熱火是否還能挽回這個對戰波士頓的季後系列賽。
目前聯盟史上還未曾有任何一支球隊，能在季後賽裡從零比三的劣勢下逆轉成功。

No, the issue after Friday's gut-wrenching 100-98 loss decided on a Paul
Pierce jumper at the buzzer is whether Wade is about to play his final game
in a Heat uniform in Sunday's Game 4.

不過，在Pierce那記讓人心碎的絕殺後，現在的問題是
Wade是否會穿上熱火球衣在週日的Game 4上陣。

"It'll sink in tonight, the opportunity we had," Wade said. "It's tough."

Falling victim to a cramp in his left calf on the Heat's final possession,
his own wayward 3-point attempt, Wade went down grimacing.

"Dwyane was cramping up," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He was cramping up in

The cramp left Wade waiting and watching, as Pierce lifted over Dorell Wright
with his 21-foot jumper.

The Heat, however, had a foul to give in that situation, which would have
forced the Celtics to again inbound off the possession that began with 11.7
seconds to play.

"We thought about it," said Spoelstra, who said a greater consideration was
possibly running a second defender at Pierce. Pierce, in fact, said he was
surprised the Heat did not foul, and was expecting such a maneuver.

"We love when Wade's off the floor," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "Wade

While Wade led the Heat back from a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit, the
Heat simply couldn't close on a night it committed 18 turnovers that led to
24 Celtics points.

Two missed late free throws by Udonis Haslem as well as a missed jumper by
the reserve power forward proved costly.

"We've certainly fought the fight, in terms of bringing the appropriate level
of intensity to the game," Spoelstra said. "That was there. Couldn't ask for
much more in terms of effort plays and bringing the fight."

But against the Celtics, that simply has not been enough. The Heat not only
is 0-6 against Boston this season, but has lost 14 of the last 15 meetings.

"We fought this team, we just can't get over the hump," Wade said. "It can't
last forever."  As always, the Celtics simply had too many weapons, with
Pierce leading the way with 32 points, shooting guard Ray Allen adding 25 and
point guard Rajon Rondo contributing 17 points and eight assists.

but no teammate able to step up as a definitive supporting partner.

Heat center Jermaine O'Neal shot 1 of 7 and is now 5 of 31 for the series.

I'm supposed to do, with the extra shooting. I'm just going through probably
the roughest point for my career."

With a loss Sunday or in one of the other remaining games, the Heat still

As it is, the Heat remains stuck on three postseason victories since taking
that title, all achieved in last season's seven-game opening-round ouster at
the hands of the Hawks.

事實上，自從06年冠軍後，熱火在季後賽只贏了3場比賽，
三場勝利都是在去年對上老鷹的系列賽裡拿到。

"We fought," Haslem said. "We gave ourselves a chance.
You have to figure if we keep fighting like this, we'll get a victory."

Haslem表示：「我們盡力奮戰了。我們給過自己一次機會，
              你必須知道如果我們一直持續衝下去，我們會贏球的。」
