Heat set to sign Dampier

Free agent center Erick Dampier will sign a one-year, $1.4 million contract
with the Miami Heat, NBA sources confirmed.

The deal was first reported by CBS Sports.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pound Dampier averaged 6.0 points and 7.3 rebounds last
season with Dallas.
