Van Gundy Supports LeBron James for MVP
(Stan) Van Gundy was asked if (Dwight) Howard should be receiving more
attention for the MVP Award. Initially, Van Gundy said the season was only
two-thirds of the way finished and it was too early to talk about it. Then he
talked about, saying he loved Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose but the award
should go to LeBron James. Conspicuously, he left Howard’s name out of the
conversation.
魔術隊的總教練Stan Van Gundy被問到 Dwight Howard是不是應該要在角逐MVP這個大獎上
多多被關注。一開始聽到這個問題，Van Gundy說球季才只進行到三分之二，而且現在討論
這件事似乎有點太早了。但他還是提到說，他喜歡 Kevin Durant 和 Derrick Rose，但這
個本季的MVP得主應該頒給 LeBron James。很顯然地，他根本不想在這個話題中提到Dwight
-Howard。
“Right now the way it’s going it would be hard to vote for any other than
LeBron,” “Look at his numbers. And I’m not just talking about his points,
rebounds, assists. Looking at his shooting percentages. I mean, my God. Plus
the guy’s a hell of a defender.”
Van Gundy說： 「現在要投的話其他人想要得票超過LeBron我看應該很難，看看他的數據。
我不是單論他的得分、籃板、助攻這些。看看他的投籃命中率。我想說的是，我的天啊。
再加上這傢伙根本是一個鬼神般的大鎖」
