Celtics To Sign Ryan Hollins

The Celtics will sign Ryan Hollins.

Hollins was waived this week by the Cavaliers.

To create a roster spot for Hollins, the Celtics will waive Chris Wilcox who
is out for the remainder of the season.

Danny Ainge said Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce urged him this summer to sign
Hollins.

"They really liked his game and the way he could play with them," Ainge said.
"I think he would fit in well with what we do."

Doc Rivers confirmed the news before the game tonight against the Bucks that
Ryan Hollins will be the newest Celtic big man on the roster.

The 26-year-old is expected to join the team in time for tomorrow’s game in
Philadelphia after being waived by Cleveland earlier this week. A full scouting
