It was accepted as conventional wisdom that after his third microfracture
surgery earlier this year that Greg Oden was done. In the minds of most fans
and team officials around the league he is done.

很多人都知道，也認為Greg Oden在年初經歷第三次"微創"手術之後，不只本球季無法
上場，甚至其球員生涯也跟著落幕了。

But not in his own mind.

That’s what Oden’s agent , Mike Conley, Sr told CSNNW.com.

但Oden經紀人Mike Conley, Sr（也是灰熊隊後衛的父親）告知CSNNW.com，"退休"這個
想法，並不存在於Oden的心裡。

“No he’s not retiring. The only way that would happen is if he was forced
to and I don’t see that happening,” Conley said. “He’s dedicated to
making sure he’s back on the court as soon as possible.”

「Oden現在還不考慮退休，唯一的可能就是他的身體迫使他無法打球，但我目前
看不到那樣的可能性。」老Conley表示：「他正努力確保他能儘快返回球場。」

Indiana and Miami have had some interest, according to the report. Right now
Oden is back in his hometown in Indiana on crutches and will be starting the
rehab to bounce back from yet another surgery.

根據報導，溜馬與熱火都有挖角Oden的意願。Oden已經回到了位於印第安那的家鄉，
目前需要靠拐杖輔助行走，而他正準備下一次手術，並且在之後開始進行復健。

In for NBA seasons he played a total of 82 games and he hasn’t been on the
court since 2009.

Oden球員生涯只打了82場比賽，而且從2009年之後就再也沒上場過了。

I hate to say it, but Oden is going to be forced to retire — teams may have
curiosity but that is a long way from signing him and giving him minutes.

我不想說這句話，但Oden其實也應該準備退休了。球隊可能會對他好奇，但要獲得合約
乃至獲得上場時間都要經過很漫長的路。

Oden’s is a sad tale, a good guy whose body betrayed him. And betrayed the
Trail Blazers.

Oden是一個讓人感到悲傷的故事：一個好人，但身體背叛了他本人與拓荒者。
