The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled guard Shabazz Napier fr
om their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyfor
ce.

In his latest stint, Napier appeared in three games (two starts) and averaged
18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 40.4 percent from the
 field, 46.7 percent from three-point range and 91.7 percent from the foul lin
e. He led the team in scoring twice and in rebounds and assists once each whil
e posting two 20-point games. He has now appeared in four games (two starts) w
ith the Skyforce this season averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assis
ts while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 45 percent from three-point ran
ge and 81 percent from the foul line.

Napier has appeared in 25 games with the HEAT this season averaging 5.7 points
, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 21.0 minutes while shooting 42.5 percent fromt
he field and 38.1 percent from three-point range. He will re-join the team for
 their contest at Portland tomorrow night.
