The discharge capacity exhibited >120 and >550 mWh g^-1 at the operation temperature of 333 K. We also prepared a lithium-metal -free battery by using copper current collector at the anode, and exhibit the similar discharge capacity. Our demonstration indicates the marked improvement in the energy density of lithium polymer batteries through a simple preparation, which leads to the manufacture of large-scaled batteries. Introduction A liquid-free lithium polymer secondary batteries (LPBs) have a potential of having a higher capacity with safety than a commercial lithium ion (liquid electrolyte) batteries [1], [2] and [3]. Although poor ionic conductivity in SPE has been a major problem, it has reached up to >10^-3 S/cm at an operation temperature of 333 or 363 K, which is an acceptable level for practical use [4] .
