- Bows are now enchantable, with four new enchantments specific to bows: 
  Power, Punch, Infinity, and Flame. 
  弓現在可以附魔，可以附魔的種類有：Power(+傷害),Punch(擊退) 
  Infinity(不消耗箭矢，但是還是需要箭矢),Flame(射出去的是火箭啦
- Arrows which are on fire now set entities they hit on fire.
  火箭會把射中的entities(怪物,玩家,礦車,船)燒起來。
- Golden Apple recipe changed to use gold nuggets instead of gold blocks. 
  金蘋果合成公式從金磚改成金碎塊。
  - Golden Apples now fill 4 hunger rather than 10 and cause regeneration 
    for 4 seconds rather than 30. 
    金蘋果的回覆飢餓量從10(五顆心)減少到4(兩顆心)
    回血狀態時間從30秒減少到4秒
    補充: 隱藏回覆量從24減少到9.6
- 56 new language translations, including fictional ones such as Pirate. 
  新增56種語言翻譯，其中包含一些虛構的語言，如海盜語言。
- Slightly smoothed color transitions between biomes. 
  讓步同氣候之間的色調漸層變化
  - Swamp land and water colors now smoothly transition to other biomes. 
    沼澤地不再像前顏色是沒有漸層
- Re-added beaches
  重新把海灘加到遊戲中，主要分布位置是在海的邊緣
  另補充高山氣候邊緣增加一種地形使得高山不會有很大的斷層
- taiga biomes now contain snow and ice
  針葉林氣候現在跟雪原一樣現在會下雪跟結冰
- Biomes are slightly more varied, with differing elevations of land in
  previously flat biomes
  現在的氣候地形稍微作了一些改變比之前更加不平坦
  沙漠、森林、針葉林、雪原氣候中間都追加了一些山丘
  草原氣候中追加了一些森林
  沼澤氣候中追加了一些水池(比原來的淺水還深)
- Decreased randomness of enchantment levels at Enchantment Tables. 
  減少附魔等級的亂數，至於是哪部份就不知道
- Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds from 30. 
  釀造藥水的時間從30秒減少到20秒
- Added Spawn Eggs to creative mode. 
  在創造模式中增加磚用道具 生怪蛋
- Added a world type option (available types: Superflat and Default). 
  世界的選項增加了類型：超平坦或是預設
- Removed collision box from Ladders. 
  移除除了梯子的體積
- Sheep eat Grass (converting them to Dirt) and Tall Grass to regain 
  their Wool. 
  羊會吃草磚(吃掉會變成土)跟長出來的草來回覆身上的羊毛
  - Sheep only drop 1-3 wool per shearing. 
    剪下的羊毛數量減少到1~3個
- The collision box on Fence Gates now matches that of Fences 
  instead of being square. 
  柵欄門的體積從一整個立方體修正成跟柵欄一樣是一片的
- Fence Gates can now be opened and closed with redstone. 
  柵欄門現在可以由紅石迴路控制開起跟關閉。
- Leaves now have a 1/200 chance of dropping Red Apples. 
  樹葉現在有兩百分之一的機率會掉落紅蘋果。
- Blacksmith buildings in NPC Villages now hold chests with loot 
  of the same type as Strongholds 
  NPC村莊中的鐵匠舖艷再有箱子，內容誤跟遺跡的箱子相同。
- Void fog removed in creative mode. 
  在創造模式中不在底有底層的迷霧(會讓視野急速縮小)。
- Melons and Pumpkins can now grow on Dirt, instead of only on Farmland. 
  西瓜跟南瓜從原本只能長在耕地上修改成在土上也能長出來
- New settings in Server.properties: 
  伺服器增加了以訝屬性設定
  - level-type 
  - spawn-npcs 
  - generate-structures 
- Magma Cubes can now drop Magma Cream on death. 
  地獄史來母現在會掉落烈焰球(原本是用史來母+烈焰棒分解的東西合成)
- In SMP servers, non-ops are kicked if they spam in chat too much 
  (Ops are not notified of the kick, they must assume 
   that the player was auto-kicked) 
  在多人遊戲伺服器中，如果有人大量的說話，它將會自動踢出伺服器
- The distance that Wheat attracts friendly mobs has increased 
  from 2-3 to 8-9 
  友善動物被小麥吸引的距離從2-3改到8-9
- All Music discs except for "11" can be dropped from creepers 
  killed by skeletons. 
  所有的音樂CD除了"11"以外都能從被骷髏殺死的Creeper掉落

Bug fixes: 
- Fixed "Sniper Duel" achievement not working. 
  修正狙擊怪物的成就無法取得的bug
- Fixed Powered Rail Non-Depowering Bug 
- Fixed Powered Rail Failure-to-Update on Placement Bug 
  修正一些有關動力軌道的Bug
Bugs: 
- Major crash bug in the loading screen for some users 
  某些使用者在讀取畫面會當掉
- Possible to fall through a block of Farmland, Soul Sand or Glass 
  when walking over its edge. <Confirmed>
