Blazers' Aldridge Likely To Return Wednesday

The Columbian -
Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge will meet with his doctors Monday and could be
cleared to return from plantar fasciitis in his right foot at that time. But
it may not come early enough for Aldridge to play in Monday’s game against
New Orleans.

Without any time to practice, or at the very least run, on the foot and test
it prior to game action, McMillan said he will first talk to the team doctors
and trainers before deciding if playing Aldridge that night is a worthwhile
risk.

"We’ll wait until we get closer," McMillan said. "With him not doing any
running, we’ll just see how it goes, whether he plays on Monday or if he
comes off the bench or if he doesn’t play at all."

If Aldridge is held out of Monday’s game after being cleared, he would
return Wednesday night against Toronto.
