Dalembert skips practice with nagging pain
Samuel Dalembert skipped the 76ers practice on Monday because of a sore foot,
a troublesome ankle and a thigh bruise. He is questionable for Wednesday's
game.
"The foot started hurting a little bit, and the ankle was swelling up," said
Dalembert, who was also kneed in the thigh during Sunday's game. Forwards
Rodney Carney (right foot) and Jason Smith (left ankle) were also held out of
Monday's practice, but aren't expected to miss any games.

Stephen Jackson expected to play Tuesday
Stephen Jackson expects to start for the Warriors on Tuesday after practicing
without pain in his left foot.
"I think I'm going to have to put my foot in a boot to heal faster, but it's
not bad enough that I can't play with it," said Jackson. "I try to compensate
for my ankle sometimes, playing on the front of my foot." Jackson has had
ongoing problems with his left big toe, but hopefully he can stay healthy for
the rest of the way.

Cassell to be bought by Clippers
The Clippers are expected to buyout Sam Cassell's contract as early as
Tuesday, clearing the way for him to play for another team.
The Celtics and Suns sound like frontrunners for his services and the buyout
is said to be "imminent," according to the Boston Globe. It appears Cassell
has played his last game for the Clippers, but will probably be nothing more
than a backup for his new team. Brevin Knight, who should start for the
Clippers, now warrants a pickup if you need assists.
