Stoudemire will be held out of night scrimmages when Phoenix opens training
camp next week because of a sore left ankle, the Arizona Republic reports.
Spin: Suns general manager Steve Kerr said Stoudemire tweaked a previously
sprained ankle two weeks ago and has been examined by the team's medical
staff. The doctors concluded that some rest is needed and that Stoudemire
will only be able to participate in the morning sessions' non-contact work.
