Deron Williams may rest some games
Jazz point guard Deron Williams could rest when the Jazz play back-to-back
games to avoid a setback with his ankle.
"I said that two weeks ago when I came back, but my ankle's so much stronger
and so further along than it was back then, so we'll just have to see how it
goes," he said. Williams looked great in his return last night, so maybe the
Jazz won't feel the need to be as cautious, but keep an eye on the situation
as the Jazz play three sets of back-to-back games in the next two weeks. Nov.

Josh Smith targeting return on Wednesday
Josh Smith (ankle) will not play in either of the Hawks games this weekend,
but is aiming for a Wednesday return.
He went through his first complete workout in almost three weeks on
Thanksgiving, and will probably be worth activating for next week even if he
is slightly rusty.

Arenas estimates his knee is in "high 80's"
Gilbert Arenas told TNT's David Aldridge that his injured knee is in the
"high 80's," and said "If it was up to me I'd already be playing."
Arenas also said "[The trainers] just want me to keep going until I get
actually 100 percent this time." The prognosis of "high 80's" certainly
sounds good, but we're guessing it'll take a while to get to 100 percent. And
considering that he's already hinted at shutting it down if the Wizards are
out of the playoff picture, we're just hoping to see Arenas play at all
rather than expecting to see him anytime soon.
