Ben Wallace (flu) will miss Thursday's game against Chicago.
Lorenzen Wright started when Wallace sat out Tuesday, but J.J. Hickson was
the bigger beneficiary, going for nine points, seven rebounds, a steal and a
block off the bench.

Vince Carter is expected to play Thursday against the Blazers despite
injuring his ankle against the Celtics Wednesday.
The injury occurred when Brian Scalabrine rolled on Carter's ankle in pursuit
of a loose ball. Look for Carter to post a big line as he attempts to bounce
back from a dismal 1-for-10 shooting game against the Celtics.

Suns beat writer Paul Coro believes Shaquille O'Neal will play Thursday
against Denver and sit out Friday against Minnesota.
Nothing is official yet, but Coro bases his reasoning on the fact that the
game against Denver could be more pivotal in the standings. Whenever Shaq
does end up sitting out, Robin Lopez will get the start.

Drew Gooden is being called day-to-day with groin and ankle injuries, and
it's still to be determined whether or not he'll face the Cavs on Thursday
night.
If in doubt, owners in daily leagues will probably want to bench Gooden due
to the injuries and a difficult matchup, but we hope to have more definitive
word on his status prior to tipoff.
