is aiming to return on Sunday.
Pietrus may not retake the starting job from rookie Courtney Lee. He has been
a borderline fantasy player in average leagues, so don't cut anyone valuable
to add him.

Brandon Rush has fallen out of the Pacers rotation now that Mike Dunleavy and
Marquis Daniels are healthy.
"Right now I'm not very confident," Rush admitted. He has played a total of
40 minutes in the past seven games, so this shouldn't have any significant
fantasy impact.

Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson (back) hopes to return to action either
Friday or Saturday.
Stevenson, who has missed 14 consecutive games, said his back is "still
tight" but the pain in his leg has dissipated. He has two practices and two
shootarounds to gauge his health, so we should have updates later in the week.

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan is unhappy with the effort level of his starting unit,
and it's possible that C.J. Miles will soon be moved to the bench.
The problem for Utah is a lack of alternatives -- with Andrei Kirilenko
(ankle) sidelined, Sloan would have to replace Miles with Kyle Korver, Matt
Harpring or Ronnie Price. Keep an eye on Korver in case he gets the promotion
-- he hasn't done much this season, but his three-point shooting always makes
him a potential asset.

There’s a good chance Bobcats rookie D.J. Augustin (abdominal strain) will
return on Friday, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.
Augustin pulled a weighted sled on Monday without incident, but Thursday's
practice will be the final hurdle. His return could cut into Raja Bell's
recent surge, though neither Bell nor Raymond Felton should lose too many
minutes.

It is unknown when Drew Gooden (groin, abdomen) will return, but the Daily
Herald says "it's not likely to happen this week."
It sounds like Tuesday's game at Houston is the earliest we might see Gooden,
whose absence has opened up extra minutes for Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas.

Blazers guard Steve Blake is questionable to play on Wednesday after
aggravating his shoulder injury.

McMillan decided to shut him down as a precaution. We should have an update
soon.
