Monta Ellis will be sidelined for one to two weeks after experiencing
"occasional stiffness" in the same ankle that caused him to miss most of the
season, according to a press release issued by the Warriors on Sunday.

Uh oh. Given the Warriors position that they did not want to rush him through
rehabilitation, this is real bad news. Obviously, a disconnect may exist
between Ellis and the Warriors' training staff that allowed this to happen in
the first place, and with the Warriors out of playoff contention, owners
ought to be in full-on panic mode right now.
