Pau Gasol non-committal about return date
Pau Gasol (hamstring) was evasive when asked about his return date, saying
only that he remains day-to-day.
Gasol has been day-to-day for weeks, of course. "It's a matter of time before
it gets better," he said. "When, who knows? They can't tell me. I can't tell
anybody. I wish I knew for certain." For what it's worth, coach Phil Jackson
is hopeful that Gasol will play on Thursday.
