Iverson could sign with 76ers on Wednesday
Stephen A. Smith expects Allen Iverson to accept the 76ers one-year contract
offer on Wednesday.
"The non-guarantee doesn't matter, because the contract becomes guaranteed
the 2nd week in January," wrote Smith. "Expect him to show up...in a 76ers'
uniform next Monday vs. Carmelo and the Nuggets." Iverson will probably start
right away (at least while Lou Williams is out) and he shouldn't be floating
on many waiver wires at this point.
