Dec 8 Speights (knee) was cleared to begin running on his injured knee this
past Sunday, and he believes he is ahead of schedule in the rehabilitation of
his partially torn MCL, the Philly Burbs reports.

Recommendation: Speights' original rehab schedule had him out six-to-eight
weeks. That would put his return as early as the end of December or as
late as mid-January. He's been out of commission for three-and-a-half weeks so
far. While it's nice to hear he feels good, we're tempering our expectations
until the Sixers release an official status report. "It feels great,"
Speights said. "I think I might be a little ahead of schedule."
