Dirk Nowitzki and Carl Landry both left Friday's game after a hard collision
and neither will return. Landry is in the hospital having repair work done on
his three lost teeth, while Dirk had three stitches in his elbow, but may
still be having a tooth extracted from the area. In any case, both players
should be considered day-to-day at this point, and Dirk finished with just
five points in 10 minutes.

Carl Landry took an inadvertant, yet hard elbow from Dirk Nowitzki and lost
three teeth on Friday night. He's left the arena to go to the emergency room
to have the problem taken care of, and will not return. He finished with two
points in six minutes before leaving, and Shane Battier might be worth a
four-game pickup for next week if Landry's going to miss some time.
