Landry sounding likely for Tuesday's game
Carl Landry practiced on Monday and plans on playing Tuesday against the
Clippers after suffering severe damage to five of his teeth in a collision
with Dirk Nowitzki on Friday.
"Why not? I'm all right," Landry said when asked if he'd play tonight. Landry
underwent six hours of surgery and is eating soft foods. "It's not going to
stop me," Landry said. "It wasn't life-threatening or anything. It was a
little bit of pain. We all go through things in life where it's kind of
painful. You fall, but you get back up again, and that's what I did." Can you

Dirk's elbow feeling better, shoots on Monday
Dirk Nowitzki is feeling much better and actually took a few shots on
Monday, meaning there's a decent chance he'll try to play on Tuesday.
He's still listed as day-to-day due to his serious elbow injury, and could
still struggle with the elbow being so sensitive. But the Mavs probably won't
know for sure whether or not he's playing until Tuesday's shootaround. Our
guess is he plays, but he's obviously a risky start in weekly leagues. Dec.
