Josh Childress will be shut down for a week and then will have
his right index finger fracture re-evaluated on the day of the opener.
The finger will have to be immobilized for six weeks, but the thought is
that he can play through the injury. Given that it is his shooting hand,
we'd recommend going with another deep sleeper in his place,
and then keep an eye on him as the season ensues.
