John Salmons, out with a knee injury, could return to the lineup Friday
against Minnesota in the preseason finale. "He's doing better," Scott Skiles
said. "We might do something with him tomorrow in the morning a little bit,
we might do some 2-on-2 live. Then maybe play him a little bit in the game
(Friday)." It sounds like he could get off to a slow start this season, but
should still be worth a mid-round pick in fantasy leagues.

Joakim Noah returned to practice on Sunday afternoon after missing the Bulls'
final two preseason games because of the flu. Noah said his conditioning

Mike Dunleavy left Friday's game with a "noticeable limp" according to Mike
Wells on Twitter. He never returned to the game after playing less than four
minutes and we're guessing it's a foot or ankle injury. We should know more
information over the weekend, but this is a concern for one of the league's
biggest injury risks over the last couple years.

Danny Granger F  Sidelined   Oct 15  ankle    Probable to start season
Latest News:
The Indianapolis Star confirms that Danny Granger (ankle) is expected to be
healthy for next Wednesday's season opener. Draft Granger as you normally
would. Minor nagging injuries have caused him to miss 35 games over the last
two seasons, but this ankle sprain is of the normal variety. Granger is a
strong bet to lead the league in 3-pointers made per game and will be in the
top-10 in points per game as well. At age 27, he's entering his prime.

Tracy McGrady practiced on Sunday, an indication that he'll be ready to play
in the Pistons first game of the season. Fantasy owners should keep T-Mac
benched until we see him performing at a high level. And with a glut of
swingmen in Detroit there is no guarantee that his playing time will be
sufficient, even if he somehow stays healthy.
