MRI confirms sprain for Curry (ankle)
The results of an MRI revealed that Stephen Curry did not tear any
ligaments in his right ankle; rather, he merely suffered a "re-occurrence" of
a sprain from earlier in the season.
Curry is officially listed as doubtful for Friday's tilt with the Heat, but
the important takeaway here is that his owners have averted disaster. The
Warriors are off on Saturday and Sunday before traveling to Utah on Monday,
so he stands a reasonable chance of playing then if he can't go on Friday.
