Gallinari has mild sprain, could miss
2 weeks
Danilo Gallinari's knee MRI revealed a mild sprain and the recovery time is
expected to be two to three weeks.
We haven't gotten any definitive word on how long Gallinari will be out, but
it makes sense to get him benched for this week and then see what happens.
It's unclear if the recovery time period means he won't play until it's fully
healed, or if it means he can play on it while it's healing. But our guess is
he'll miss at least the upcoming week. Toney Douglas should be a solid
fantasy play this week, while Landry Fields and Shawne Williams should also
get extra run. Jan. 3 - 5:39 pm et
