Mo Williams venting, considering time off
Mo Williams, who has battled leg, groin, and hip injuries all season, said
before Friday's game that if his teammates weren't so banged up, he would be
shutting himself down for a while.
"I'm beat up, man," Williams said. "This is a year for me, physically, that
I've got to fight through. I've never faced injuries all year long. I haven't
felt good all year." The report is ambivalent in nature, for example stating
that Byron Scott "recognizes that everybody is hurting," minimizing the
impact of Williams' statements about a shutdown. Regardless, owners are on
alert and should strongly consider moving him in any trade returning close to
