Deron Williams held a conference call on Wednesday and said his right wrist
needs "three or four weeks" off to heal, while the bone bruise on his left
hand might be a bigger concern.
His wrist has been a problem for some time and it's been common knowledge
that it would bother him the rest of the season, and he seemed prepared to
play through it. However, with the injury to his other hand, he's really
struggling right now. "They just traded for me," he said of the Nets. "I don’
t think they traded for me to sit out." He wants to play, but the Nets don't
have much to play for. If you can move Williams before Friday, it would
probably make sense. Just know that he has not been ruled out, but there are
enough red flags with him to raise serious fantasy concerns. Jordan Farmar
(ankle, day-to-day) and Ben Uzoh would take over if he is eventually shut down
from rotoworld

Johnson said the Nets will look to give him days off on practice days and try
as long as they can to avoid him missing games. Williams also will likely get
some time off around the middle of March, as his wife is pregnant and
expecting the couple’s fourth child.
