LaMarcus Aldridge leaves with ankle sprain
LaMarcus Aldridge left Tuesday's game early in the first quarter with a
sprained left ankle and will not return.
X-rays were negative, but he could miss some time with the injury. Kurt
Thomas is a logical fill-in for Aldridge, but Wesley Matthews, who was
benched for this game, replaced Aldridge in the lineup, pushing Nicolas Batum
to small forward, and Gerald Wallace to power forward. The announcing crew
sounded slightly concerned about Aldridge being able to play in the All-Star
game, but that's jumping the gun. We should know more on his status tomorrow,
but don't be surprised if he misses at least Wednesday's game at Golden State.
