Andrew Bynum has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to
the team.
The announcement was made by GM Chris Grant. Bynum did not travel with the
team to Boston and will not play on Saturday. Currently there is no
information on the length of the suspension, or the factors that caused the
disciplinary action. However, there is enough evidence to support the idea of
Bynum possibly being done with the team. He doesn't hustle on either end and
the "conduct detrimental to the team" could be the straw that broke the
camel's back. Anderson Varejao will start at center and Tyler Zeller should
see an increase in minutes in a backup role. Bynum is averaging just 8.4
points and 5.3 rebounds per game, and sinking a dreadful 41.9 percent of his
shots from the field. He can be cut in almost all leagues. Dec 28 - 11:00 AM
