其實Mary Willingham 並沒有說他們 "illiteracy"
只是說他們的程度相當於小學/國中生 (經過 UNC 內部的心理學PhD的評估)
這個專題中提到說其實討論報告的正確性是個假議題
也是 UNC 校方模糊焦點的說法
重點是:
學校是不是開了假課程
學生運動員分數有沒有造假
為了這件事, UNC 已經有好幾個長官丟官/辭職(包含前任校長)/提前退休/被告了
目前為止火勢都還能控制在 "這個事件是 academic scandal 不是 athletic scandal"
NCAA 接受這個說法
但沒人說得準哪一天 NCAA 會開始認真調查
2005, 2009 的全國冠軍錦旗未來能不能保住仍在未定之天
