Long-term marijuana use doesn't seem to make you more stupid. In a study of 1318 Baltimore residents, researchers from the Johns Hopkins Hospital found that during the twelve years since they first received a test of mental ability, there was no significant difference between people who had never tried marijuana, people who admitted to light use, and people who were heavy users. Of course, the stuff is illegal, so you shouldn't take this as advice to use it. Science makes no judgement on these kinds of issues - it just provides information. The findings are interesting in light of possible medicinal uses of marijuana and synthetic drugs based on compounds derived from the plant. ref: American Journal of Epidemiology, May 1, 1999. -- Boston Globe Tuesday, June 1, 1999 -- 借放一下 -- ┌┌┌┌ Origin: 小魚的紫色花園 <fpg.twbbs.org> 140.112.200.214 ───┐┐┐┐
