Course Description:
This course focuses on the various aspects of research and development of advanced accounting information systems nowadays. Emerging and existing theories and applications of accounting information systems in enterprises will be covered in the course. Students will be taught with the contemporary issues of information technology to be applied in accounting. Lectures, discussion, student presentation, and lab session will be used to teach the course. A packet of readings will be provided in class.
Students are expected to read readings and familiarize themselves with the assignments. Students will be equipped with knowledge, methods, and techniques of subjects in accounting information systems including:
