Measures Taken
The NBA on Sunday released a statement from Commissioner David Stern
announcing suspensions for nine players, including Indiana's Ron Artest,
Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O'Neal as well as Detroit's Ben Wallace,
following Friday's incident at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Artest will
be suspended for the rest of the season, Jackson will sit out 30 games,
O'Neal 25 games and Wallace six games.
