These days the Headline on the media was the event that the suspect case of
SARS appeared in the Taipei Municipal Hoping Hospital. It's the first time
that the whole hospital was been isolated because of the epidemic disease.
No one in the hospital initially would be allowed of leaving out, of course.
I found that some of the hospital staffs were in the panic, as the information
I caught. Someone announced that she would not take care of the patients
anymore. What a big surprising news that a nurse could say such words!
However, doctors & nurses are also human beings after all. They perform
their duties to cure the patients of their diseases, but whoever could cure
them if themselves are in trouble? Being isolated in 10 days could be imaged
as really uncomfortable, just like being put into jail, but this is the fact
of life. Wish all the isolated persons could be more patient. Would God bless
them, and would the remedy of SARS be developed more faster.
