Unlike most of students in William & Mary, this and next week is their
most stressful weeks for them(final exams), I really enjoyed my life here
recently. (I only have some papers left)
After turning my acting "papers" in time yesterday afternoon, I went to
my host Mom, Pat's, house. We "built" a Christmas tree together, and then
decorated it. It was really fun "building" a fake Christmas tree branch by
branch, and listening different story behind each decoration. Besides, I also
gave her a decoration as a gift....haha...she'll take about me to others next
Christmas. After being done with the work of Christmas tree, we stood there to
enjoy watching the Christmas tree, and took some pictures.
After a while, haha..... I cooked for our dinner, which is " tomato &
stir fried egg" & mashed potatoes. I would say it's a "Chinese and Western"
dinner. You know what, we had our dinner with candles and the lights on
Christmas tree. How romantic! Haha...:) I'm glad that my host mom likes the
dish. To my surprused, she gave me a box of German cookies which was made by
herself before I went back; and she told me it's a kind of German tradition to
give others cookies as Christmas gift. How lucky I am to have those delicious
home-made cookies :) Anyway, on my way back home, I saw a lot of beautiful
lights outside of others' houses. They are some pretty, and made me want to
live in those houses. ha
