Dear all,
This is Ivy, the incoming president for NCCU Toastmasters.
Tonight, we did a lot of things together, including 2007 Spring
Officers Installation, Speech Marathon, and In-House Table topic
contest. We have special guest, Sue Chien from China Toastmasters,
lovely Jude Wei (Division G governor), and our beloved instructor
Ruth Martin to visit us.
A new officer team was born today, and our hard-working
ex-officer team officially retired. Let’s give everyone a big
applause. After the officer installation, we had a short Speech
Marathon, with Amanda’s and Barry’s lovely speeches.
What’s the most exciting part for tonight, it’s Table Topic
Contest! With James’ s help, I believe all contestants could
feel the tension and excitement at the same time. It’s Fun!!
And we have our Top Three winners:
1st Regina Chao, 2nd Sandy Yu, and the 3rd Cindy Yeh.
All are amazing and smart Toasters.
And the top two people are going to represent our club
for division C contest! Another big applause.
All in all, today’s meeting is quite special, and sorry for
delaying the time schedule. For next semester, our meeting time
will be decided soon!
