By the way, folks, I just talked to Jason Shih over the e-mail.
He said he's got a honorable professorship in a China university,
so he is extremely busy right now.
Guess what happened when I told him Sharon got admissions to Cornell?
You bet.
He strongly suggests Sharon to come back to NC State.
Because under our Chancellor Fox, NC State is a fastly rising institution.
Our chancellor's goal is to move NC State to top 20 university in US.
Think about it.
NC State is an engineering school, no medical school and hospital
to provide funding.
No top business schools and big money donations, and NC State doesn't offer
any PH.D. in all humanities.
Based on our engineering and biotechnology,
we want to move to top 20 overall!
That means our engineering and biotechnology has to move to top 10.
Or top 5.
Jason Shih just doesn't change a bit.
He is always that passionate, that helping and that cheer-leading.
I guess there can be no more doubt why he is always so young.
PS. Jason Shih also said that Cornell is too cold...
