題 目:Biologically Supported Stochastic Models of Carcinogenesis: Stem Cells, Cancer Biology and Cancer Models 主講人:譚外元教授 (University of Memphis, USA) 時 間:101年11月16日(星期五)下午13:10-14:00 地 點:交大綜合一館427室 Abstract For developing biologically supported models of carcinogenesis, in this lecture we present and discuss some basic results of molecular biology on carcinogenesis. These biological results include stem cells and the 8 basic hallmarks for carcinogenesis proposed by Hanahan and Weinberg (Cell, 2011). We also discuss some population genetic aspect of carcinogenesis to involve hereditary cancer cases. Then we propose some important stochastic models for human carcinogenesis. These models include multiple pathways models as well as mixture models.
