題 目:Mathematical Analysis and Some New Innovative Approaches for Modeling Stochastic Models of Carcinogenesis 主講人:譚外元教授 (University of Memphis, USA) 時 間:101年11月19日(星期一)下午13:20-14:10 地 點:交大綜合一館427室 Abstract In this lecture, we first present the traditional Markov mathematical analyses of stochastic models (see Tan 1991, Little 2008, Zheng 2008) and then discuss some difficulties and drawbacks of these approaches. To overcome these difficulties, we then present some new innovative approaches and methods to analyze complex stochastic models of carcinogenesis. These new approaches include stochastic difference and differential equations, State space modeling and Kalman filter method, data augmentation method, Mixture modeling, Generalized Bayesian approach and Gibbs sampling.
