本學期的第一次演講,有兩場喔!! 雖然有點晚了,但還是請大家告訴大家踴躍來聽吧!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 題 目:Correction Methods for Dosimetry Error Using Chromosome Aberration Data in Survival Analysis 主講人:王清雲教授 (Division of Public Health Sciences, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center) 時 間:101年2月24日(星期五)上午10:00-10:50 地 點:交大綜合一館427室 Abstract We develop methods using chromosome aberration data to adjust for the effects of radiation dose measurement error on the estimation of radiation dose responses for health effects in survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Although some measurement error methods have been applied to adjust for radiation measurement error in Radiation Effects Research Foundation (RERF) data, to our knowledge, the measurement error standard error of the radiation dose was assumed in the existing work as a sensitivity analysis. The estimated radiation dose calculated from physical models and data regarding the exposure scenario of an individual survivor may be considered as a surrogate variable for the unobserved underlying true radiation dose. Biomarkers such as percentage of stable chromosome aberrations can be treated as instrumental variables for the unobserved radiation dose. In the paper, we investigate exposure measurement error in excess relative risk regression. We develop regression calibration and nonparametric correction estimation. We apply our methods to a subcohort of more than 3,000 surviviors who have DS02 radiation dose estimates, stable chromosome aberration data, and the outcome variable is time to solid tumor mortality.
