Trading/Operations Associate or Analyst (TBD)
We are looking to add to our asset management team by hiring a candidate that
will help the trading function and Asia trade settlements for a Taiwan branch
back-office operation. The position will be regard as a basic trading support.
* Position could be at a higher level depending on the candidates experience
level
Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with the NY Front Office, Taiwan Back Office, Prime Broker,
Trading Counterparties and External Vendors (Fund administrator, auditors, etc
) to ensure timely, accurate and efficient flow of data is accounted for.
1.Work with External Counterparties to ensure the smooth communication,
collection and review/finalization of daily trade confirms.
2.Responsible for the data collection and the review process of the prime
broker's records against our internal accounting system.
3.Coordinate with Back-Office Operations and Investment counterparts to ensure
proper communication between all parties.
4.Proactively recommends changes to enhance, build or improve existing controls
and procedures.
Key Knowledge and Skills
1.Qualified candidates should have completed undergraduate studies in finance,
accounting or a related field.
2.Candidates should also have a solid understanding of the following
investments (equities, f/x currencies and listed/currency/index options).
3.Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.
4.Experience working at a fund administrator, audit firm or brokerage back
office /middle office team is a plus(not neccessary).
