重要B：
各位所寫得報告必須在敘述上非常「明確」，並且相當「深入」的探討各種電影與他們所
處時代的「連結」。這對各位是極端的困難，但這是對於各位瞭解歷史是相當重要的。
重要C：
這份報告必須和你的搭檔一起完成；但你需要的話，你可以找多一點人一起看一部電影，
然後和他們一起討論；然而，報告一定只能有兩個人一起做。雖然各位可能會讓同組的兩
人一人處理一部影片，但為了符合本報告的主旨：比較兩部影片，不可以把兩部影片分開
來各自討論。
重要D：
這份報告必須在期末考前的一週交；如果各位遲交了，分數必然會依據遲交的天數被刪減
。如果有任何人早交了，老師可以給早教的人更進一步的修正指導──有機會把分數提高
。
英文原文：
For the written paper this semester, you should compare two of the movies
that are being shown after class this semester. You must choose from these
movies, and if you miss any of the movies you may borrow them from the
library or from me. But being unable to get a movie to watch is NOT an excuse
for a late paper.
The paper should discuss the following points for each movie:
What were the historical conditions forming the background for these movies?
How were these movies affected by these conditions?
What are these movies saying about these conditions?
Who are the intended audiences for these movies; how do you think the movies
would affect them?
What views do the movies show about society, work, religion, women,
government, etc.
In what ways are these movies also relevant to time we live in now?
This paper needs to be both specific in what you say about the movies and
their time period and be deep in how you have though about the different
types of connections between the movies and their times. This should be
difficult for you, but it is important for your understanding of history.
The paper should be written together with your partner. If you want, you can
get together in a larger group to watch the movies and discuss them, but the
paper should be written by two people. Although you may choose to have one
person responsible for each movie, the important part of this report is in
comparing the two movies, not just describing each individually.
The paper is due during class in the last week before the final exam. If it
is later than that, points will be deducted for each day late that it is
turned in. If you turn it in earlier, I may be able to give you suggestions
on how to change it and improve your grade.
