壹、第一講：經濟發展導論 Session One: Introduction to Development Economics
一、簡述一般對經濟發展的三種目標及三種價值。
Briefly state three objectives and three core values on economic
development.
二、根據開發程度和所得水準簡述發展中國家的定義。台灣是否屬於發展中國家。
經濟成長與經濟發展有何區別。
Give brief definition on developing countries based on the extent of
development and income levels. Does Taiwan belong to the classifications
of developing countries? Differences between economic growth and economic
development?
三、發展中國家結構性的差異有八種，略述其中之三種。
Briefly state three out of eight kinds of structural differences among
developing countries.
四、發展中國家普遍特徵舉出其中兩種，並加以解釋。
Briefly explain two common characteristics of developing countries.
貳、第二講：台灣經濟發展五十年綜合回顧
Sessions Two: Overview of the Past Fifty Years on Taiwan's Economic Development
一、導致台灣經濟發展快速進步的歷史背景有日本佔領、國民政府遷臺、土地改革、美
援。略述這些因素對台灣經濟發展的影響。
Three major factors contributing to Taiwan's rapid economic development:
the Japanese occupation, the move of the Nationalist Government to Taiwan
from the Mainland China, land reform, and the USA economic aid. Briefly
from the Mainland China, land reform, and the USA economic aid. Briefly
explain each factor.
二、列舉並簡述台灣經濟發展有利和不利因素各三種。
List and briefly state three factors each of favorable and unfavorable
factors for Taiwan's economic development.
三、台灣經濟發展大致可分為兩個階段，1952-80及1981-2000，簡述兩段時期之特色ꄊ （請自講義中整理出幾點來）。Taiwan's economic development may be
generally divided into two stages, 1950-80 and 1981-2000. Briefly state
each stage's characters.
四、簡述政府在台灣經濟發展所扮演的角色或功能。
Briefly explain the government's roles or functions in Taiwan's economic
development.
五、列出三種台灣經濟發展的成果，並略述目前的困難。
List three achievements of Taiwan's economic development and briefly
state current difficulties.
參、第三講：農業發展 Session Three: Agricultural Development
一、「佃農制度在經濟上有效率，但在經濟及社會結構上導致社會不公平及市場失敗
（市場運作不善），」請簡單解釋這句話的意義，及對台灣土地改革政策的涵義。
"The sharecropping system is economically efficient, but it causes social
injustice and market failure in terms of economic and social structure,"
explain briefly the meaning of this statement and some implications for
Taiwan's land reform policy.
二、促進日後台灣農業發展的早期三項重要政策為農復會、美援及土地改革。簡述農復
會對台灣農業發展的貢獻。
Explain briefly the contributions of CRR to Taiwan's agricultural
development.
三、促進日後台灣農業發展的早期三項重要政策為農復會、美援及土地改革。簡述土地
改革的內容和對台灣農業、工業及經濟發展的影響。
Three important policies contributing to Taiwan's agricultural
development in her early development stage are the Commission on Rural
Reconstruction (CRR), the US Aid, and the Land Reform. Explain briefly
the content of the Land Reform and its impacts on Taiwan's agricultural
and industrial development.
四、台灣土地改革能成功的背景和因素。
Three important policies contributing to Taiwan's agricultural
development in her early development stage are the Commission on Rural
Reconstruction (CRR), the US Aid, and the Land Reform. Explain briefly
the content of the Land Reform and its contributions to Taiwan's
agricultural, industrial and economic development.
五、1949-69及1970-90這兩個時期，台灣的農業和工業政策有何不同？影響如何？
Explain briefly the main differences and impacts in Taiwan's agricultural
and industrial policies between the period of 1949-69 and the period of
1970-90.
六、1990以後至今台灣農業面臨許多困難，列舉並簡述三種農業問題。
From 1990 on, Taiwan's agricultural sector has been facing many
difficulties. List and state briefly three agricultural problems.
肆、第四講：產業與外貿政策 Industrial and Foreign Trade Policies
一、產業政策的意義和工具，及台灣產業政策的演變。
The meaning and instruments of industrial policies, and the evolution of
Taiwan's industrial policies.
二、台灣產業政策和貿易政策歷經幾個階段，簡述1981-1990這階段的背景、產業政策、
金融措施、及對台灣經濟發展的影響。
Taiwan's industrial policies have gone through several stages, briefly
state the background, industrial policies, financial policy measures and
their impact on Taiwan's economic development for the period of 1981-1990.
三、試評論目前台灣產業發展之優勢和劣勢。
Comment on the favorable and unfavorable factors for the current
industrial development in Taiwan.
四、台灣經濟發展目前進入轉型期（2001起），你覺得有哪些問題？（參考講義, 但請
參閱最近報章雜誌，自行發揮。）
Since 2001, Taiwan's economy is in transition, what kinds of issues or
problems do you think we are facing. Please refer to the lecture notes
or recent media coverage.
