Henin Works Out to Win Saturday, June 28, 2003 Given the hand injury she sustained at a tournament in the Netherlands last weekend, Justine Henin-Hardenne probably does not want any early-round workouts. But she had her third in a row today, pushed to two tight sets by the Australian Alicia Molik. Henin-Hardenne, the No. 3 seed, defeated Molik 6-4, 6-4 - the scoreline reflecting that the Belgian always had the better of her opponent, but also that it was not simple. The tall Australian was not disgraced, serving well and trying to get to the net where possible and practical. But Henin-Hardenne's ripping groundstrokes off both sides made it difficult for Molik to assert control of the rallies. Henin-Hardenne's left hand remains taped, but it did not seem to bother her during today's third-round match. The French Open Champion plays a former winner at Roland Garros, Mary Pierce, in the next round. Written by Darrin Farrant -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.csie.ntu.edu.tw) ◆ From: 140.118.122.156
