Justine's Diary After Wimbledon

Dear Friends,

I would have preferred to be writing this later; but this is tennis, and this
is life. Obviously, I did not arrive in London under the best conditions. I
did not have much preparation, my injuries were not healed, and there was a
difficult draw. All these factors uninvitingly did not help me.

Grass is not a forgiving surface, and I did not find much rhythm. Of course,
I am disappointed to go out early, but also realistic and postive. I know my
situation, and where I need to go. I have many things yet to accomplish, and
new roads to traverse.

My place now is to rest, and heal my injuries. I will return, and be stronger
than ever.
