NFL admits refs missed key calls

This is one of the things I don't understand about the NFL. They announce
that penalties were missed as if, the teams are just going to be grateful
about it. One penalty was a low hit to Favre below his knees, while at the
same time he was being hit up high. Heres the thing though, on the play,
Favre had thrown an interception, and guess what, that would have been
negated and turned back, and the Vikings would have been given 15 yards. So
is that something the Vikings really want to hear??

The other call was with the Jets and Colts. During the play Sanchez had
flipped the ball off, and about 4 seconds after he was hit hard, and taken to
the ground. Clearly a very late hit on the QB, and should have been a 15 yard
penalty. Yet somehow that was missed, and the play went for a loss. So the
NFL then comes out and says yup, sorry the Ref actually wasn't paying
attention to the QB.
