出身Florida的高中RB Alex Collins在今天決定加入Arkansas. 可是,他的母親原本
到學校準備簽字時,突然改變心意離開. Alex的哥哥對記者表示家人希望Alex能留在
Florida唸書,尤其是Miami. 根據NCAA規定,如果新生年齡不滿21歲的話,入學意願書
LOI必須要監護人簽名才有效.

對此,Arkansas因為Collins尚未成為學生,無法表示意見.

The National Letter of Intent, according to the NCAA's official website,
is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI
member institution. "If you are under the age of 21, regardless of marital
status, your parent or legal guardian must sign the NLI in order for it to
be considered valid," the website states. An earlier version of this story
said McDonald did not have to sign the papers.
