Dear class:
  The recitation classrooms have been assigned. See the

course homepage for details.

  I have put in homework assignment for several weeks
from now, so that those who wish to  study ahead can do
so conveniently.Check out the study guide, too.

  This week's homework roughly corresponds to problems
1-7 of 'Homework Assignment for Chap 02'. Some of the
problems in section 2.4 are not taught yet

(about 'Intermediate value Theorem and application to
root finding'), you can either try to study yourself if
time permits, or leave them till next week.  As I have
mentioned in class, the homework is an essential part of
this course.

  You must prepare before the recitation class in order
to benefit from it.
