On behalf of QF brown bag seminar, I would like to invite you to
participate a special event this coming Wednesday, Nov. 2. For those who needs to
get a clear picture of financial engineering, don't miss it!
An assistant engineering manager, Ms. Irene Chen, from Terasoft Inc. will
speak to us. The title and a brief statement of her talk is as follows:
Title: The MATLAB in finance.
Statement: I will target to introduce what I learn and see from both the
financial market of Taiwan and global from the Mathworks' point of view.
What's the most popular instrument and the hot application in Taiwan from
2002 to 2005? Shortly introduce to MATLAB and what the advantage of the
MATLAB in Taiwan financial market. I just share experience learning from my
job and do highly appreciate to discuss with you.
Irene has many "real world" experiences on financial engineering. I highly
encourage senior undergrad and graduate students to attain this seminar.
Of course every body is welcome.
